Blitz is a mustang from the Devil’s Garden region of the Modoc National Forest. We first met her at the BLM wild horse corrals where she and many other wild horses were waiting to be adopted. Untouched by humans and terrified when she first arrived here at the sanctuary, she has learned to trust her caretakers and is a sweet and affectionate mare who loves to explore and learn new things. Blitz’s favorite treats are carrots and horse cookies and she loves to be scratched.
